Alexandra Koumoundouros: After 12 years of living in Los Angeles, I recently moved back to Dallas, my birth place. When I moved away, Dallas was a completely different city. Uptown wasn't on the map, Deep Ellum was the place to hang out, Dirk Nowitzki was being drafted to the NBA and Mark Cuban's main concern was Broadcast.com. Dallas is now a thriving city, the 9th largest in the US and the 3rd largest in Texas. I feel like a stranger in a city I have always taken so much ownership to.
